SELF-CARE FOR PROFESSIONALS
The aim of the course is to raise awareness, support and empower people on the topic of "trauma work and self-care". We are dealing with occupational injuries, with the risk of secondary trauma and the concept of self-care. It is about valuing existing resources, developing new skills, practicing new behaviors and developing a healthy attitude.
The aim is to strengthen the individual and professional personality in line with individual and social needs. The training is meant to support specialists in reflecting, strengthening and expanding their professional role and self-esteem as a social service provider.
Our professional training is holistic and will include:
· Professional knowledge
about working with traumatized young people and possible effects on the helpers: compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and vicarious trauma.
· Self-awareness training
Self-awareness is an important first step in recognizing how you are doing and where your strengths and insecurities lie and what you would like to change.
· the next step is to reflect on your own strategies for strengthening yourself in the acquisition of new
skills and competences,
· This includes the development of an individual self-care practice that is completely focused on your
circumstances.
The training thus combines knowledge, skills, and feelings, which is the necessary prerequisite for learning well.
You will get to know many different creative methods and the group will be a stable anchor for your personal development.
